This weekend, Jennifer Lopez took the online world by making #Bennifer Instagram-official. The 52-year-old star posted a series of images celebrating her birthday on a yacht, posing in a patterned bikini from Valentino and a flowy vintage cover-up. She completed her summery look with a green hat and layered necklaces from Foundrae, carefully selected as a birthday present by her (old) new beau.
But what caught our eye was the dreamy cape-like cover-up she donned over her two-piece swimsuit. As demonstrated by JLo, a good cover-up can elevate any swimsuit and looks flattering on everybody. Styled right, it can be thrown over shorts and a top or sundress for a boho-chic vibe.
Ironically, the superstar’s ex-fiancé Alex Rodriguez is celebrating his own birthday in St. Tropez as well, partying on a separate yacht with bikini-clad women.
Bennifer rekindled their romance in April, one month after J.Lo ended her two-year engagement to Rodriguez over his entanglement with “Southern Charm” star Madison LeCroy.
The new couple subtly made things Instagram-official after attending pal Leah Remini’s birthday party together.
