The hit movie Furious 7 has received more recognition at the People’s Choice Awards. Vin Diesel received awards for Favorite Movie and Favorite Action Movie, and he even took the opportunity to serenade the audience while on stage at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles.
Vin Diesel, a dear friend and co-worker of the late Paul Walker, delivered an impactful performance of Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s popular melody, See You Again, to an enthusiastic crowd. Overcome with emotion, he expressed his gratitude to the audience, saying, “Thank you from the bottom of my heart. The only words that come to mind at this moment are, ‘It’s been a long day without you my friend. And I’ll share all my experiences with you when we meet again.’”
Walker passed away due to a car accident while the production of Furious 7 was almost coming to an end.
As the Fast and Furious star was wrapping up his speech, he expressed his concern about getting too emotional before singing the concluding song. A photo of him and another person on set accompanies the article.
I was feeling pretty relaxed as I sat in my seat, but then they surprised me by presenting me with two awards. One for my favorite action movie and the other for my favorite film overall. It was truly an honor, especially since so many people out there seemed to love the same movie that I did. As I accepted the awards, my thoughts turned to the characters Dom and Brian, and I couldn’t help but think of the late actor Paul Walker.
The final scenes of Furious 7 were filmed by Cody, the younger brother of Paul Walker. Keeping it short and sweet, I want to share that making this movie was a labor of love. Love is a powerful force that can help you achieve amazing things, and when the tragedy struck, we didn’t want to come back to filming anymore. But the love of everyone involved kept us going until the end. So it’s heartwarming to hear that this film has become a favorite of many.
