Salma Hayek is 52 years old and damn proud of her gray hair. The actress posted a gorgeous makeup-free selfie to Instagram on Sunday, February 3rd, 2019, showing her natural hair with beautiful silver stands running throughout. She captioned the photo simply with “proud of my white hair.” Hayek has always had a lovely no-bullshit approach to aging and told The New York Times in 2017 that “one of the reasons I don’t dye my hair is because I don’t have the patience to sit through it. I don’t want to spend what’s left of my youth pretending I’m younger and not enjoying life.”
She also told The Edit in 2017 (via ET Online) that one of the worst parts of aging is losing her eyesight, which is interesting, considering how many people are more concerned with eye wrinkles than their literal eyesight.
“The worst part of the aging process has been my eyes. She told the online publication. “Not the wrinkles—the eyes themselves. I’m such a visual person, and (now) I can only read with depending on glasses. It has been sad.
