The much-awaited Fast X, which is the tenth installment of the Fast & Furious film series, has recently held its Press Conference.
Fast X, featuring the talented cast from the previous films, including Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Jason Statham, John Cena, and Scott Eastwood, is directed by Louis Leterrier, known for Clash of the Titans and The Incredible Hulk. Throughout their numerous missions, Dom Toretto and his family have overcome impossible odds and outsmarted their enemies. However, in this latest installment, they face their deadliest foe yet, who seeks revenge and aims to destroy everything Dom loves. It is a thrilling adventure filled with action and suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
The movie Fast Five, which was released in 2011, showcased the story of Dom and his gang who took down Hernan Reyes, a notorious drug lord in Brazil, and destroyed his empire on a bridge in Rio De Janeiro. However, what they didn’t know was that Reyes’ son, Dante (played by Jason Momoa from Aquaman), witnessed everything and has been planning revenge for twelve years to make Dom pay the ultimate price.
Dante’s plan will force Dom’s family to scatter across different parts of the world, including Los Angeles, Rome, Brazil, London, Portugal, and even Antarctica. Along the way, new alliances will be formed, and old enemies will resurface. But the story takes a dramatic turn when Dom finds out that his own eight-year-old son, Leo Abelo Perry, is also at risk.
Dante’s desire for revenge is ultimately aimed at Anthony Anderson, the star of the popular TV show Black-ish.
The movie showcases a fresh and impressive lineup of actors, including Brie Larson as Tess, an unconventional agent from the Agency; Alan Richtson as Aimes, the new leader of the Agency who does not have the same affinity for Dom’s team as his predecessor, Mr. Nobody; Daniela Melchior as a Brazilian street racer with a deep connection to Dom’s history; and the iconic Rita Moreno as Abuelita Toretto, Dom and Mia’s grandmother.
