Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp may abandon the series after a ‘film offer.’
Fans of Johnny Depp’s PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN films have been searching for news of the actor’s return to the series ever since it was announced that he had been dropped by Disney. Now, it appears that fans may have reason to celebrate: rumours have surfaced about Depp’s possible return to the big screen in another instalment of the series.

Johnny Depp’s celebrity power skyrocketed thanks to the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. Depp’s collaboration with Tim Burton has already made him a household figure. His portrayal of the dreamy Roux in the film Chocolat is also impossible to forget.

Pirates of the Caribbean catapulted Johnny Depp to superstardom, making him perhaps the most well-known actor of all time. Unfortunately, Depp was just fired by Disney due of testimony about his private life that was presented in court.

This effectively removes the legendary Captain Jack Sparrow from future instalments of the Pirates of the Caribbean series. Depp may not have completely lost his luck just yet, despite having to walk the plank. A source claims that Depp is being considered for a role in the next Sherlock Holmes movie.

Those movies aren’t part of the same series previously marketed with Henry Cavill as the title character, but rather, they’re part of the series led by Robert Downey Jr., who will also be appearing in Avengers: Endgame. WeGotThisCovered claims that RDJ is interested in mentoring Depp and recruiting him for Sherlock Holmes 3.

It has been reported that since Depp’s current trial began, he has had some trouble finding employment. Meanwhile, the Tony Stark actor and his wife, Susan Downey, have a lot of say in the direction that Sherlock Holmes 3 will go. With this in mind, he allegedly plans to make an offer to Depp in the near future. An insider at Warner Bros. said that Bob is determined to have Johnny join the cast come what may.

Depp is unlikely to take on such a massive property without a substantial part, so expect this one to be a doozy. Even though he hasn’t committed to anything just yet, he’ll be playing a significant role in the movie that’s in the works. Until then, fans have been imagining Depp in a variety of roles.

BossLogic, a famous graphic designer, has cast Depp as a figure from pop culture. For their most recent fan art, BossLogic cast Johnny Depp as Batman’s archenemy, the Joker.
