Vin Diesel’s Fast 10 pay stub was made public.
Family cannot be valued, unless, it turns out, it is valued at millions of dollars. According to a recent Variety story, Vin Diesel, who plays Dominic Toretto in the Fast and Furious series, is receiving a whopping $20 million to play the lead role in the upcoming action sequel.
With a $300 million budget, it appears like no effort is being spared to get Fast 10 ready for release. The thriller films, together with Fast and Furious 11, are slated to be the franchise’s grand finale,
so it’s not surprising that they’re going all out.Louis Letterer will be the film’s director after the franchise’s longtime director Justin Lin left earlier in the production.
For the epic two-part conclusion of the Fast and Furious film series, Diesel will be joined by an all-star cast that includes Jason Momoa, Rita Moreno, Brie Larson, Ludacris, Charlize Theron, Scott Eastwood, and Helen Mirren.
Naturally, the rest of the cast, who play characters from Fast and Furious, is paid quite much as well. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fast X’s actors alone received seven- and eight-figure wages at a cost of at least $100 million.
In contrast, Vin Diesel received only $2 million for the first Fast & Furious movie. However, his eight-figure Fast X compensation puts him on par with a plethora of other movie industry veterans.
Variety reports that Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds for Spirited, Chris Hemsworth for Extraction 2, Tom Hardy for Venom 2, Joaquin Phoenix for Joker 2, and Denzel Washington for The Equalizer 3 are among the other Hollywood actors that received $20 million.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, his Hobbs and Shaw co-star, will receive $22.5 million for Black Adam. Maybe don’t tell Vin that, though.
