Action movie series The Fast and Furious has been around for more than 20 years. Despite its problems, many fans still adored the show, but more lately, many have realized that Dominic Toretto, played by Vin Diesel, is the worst addition of all.
Although the action scenes in the movies have drawn criticism for being unrealistic, it appears that Dom, the main character, is becoming too perfect and no longer has any flaws to display. After Paul Walker’s untimely passing, Vin Diesel took over as the series’ leader.
In the first Fast and Furious movies, Dominic Toretto was a fascinating character. He is a member of the original cast and has played the main character in seven of the last nine films. He was a crook who struggled with trust and found it tough to give up his life of crime. Additionally, Dom struggled throughout the series, it seemed, with anger management issues. All of them contributed to the character’s relatability and flaws.
In the most recent Fast and Furious films, Dominic Toretto has changed.
But in the most recent Fast and Furious films, Dom is practically unstoppable. Even though Jason Statham and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson can equal his strength, the character is not amazing if they are too perfect. Dominic no longer had to battle; he always managed to come up with solutions, and every choice he made appeared to ensure success despite any obstacles.
Since the first release, the Fast and Furious movies have seen numerous alterations. While innovation and change are important, it does not help when the realistic components are removed. The franchise has had great success at the film office, thanks in large part to its constantly expanding cast and dazzling special effects. The characters, especially Dominic Toretto, are what give the movies their little unbelievable quality.
