Fast & Furious series has just grown bigger, as Hollywood’s Aquaman, Jason Momoa, is scheduled to join Vin Diesel and the rest of the spectacular ensemble cast in the genre’s forthcoming edition Fast & Furious 10. (the title is yet under work).
Jason, who began his career as a model, rose to prominence in Hollywood after acting as Jason Loane in the action drama series Baywatch Hawaii. The dashing hottie is now one of Hollywood’s A-listers.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jason Momoa is slated to join the Fast and Furious franchise in the upcoming film ‘F10’. According to rumours, Aquaman star Jason Momoa will play an adversary in the film. However, because the screenplay for the film has not yet been verified and is still under production, it is unknown whether the actor would portray a hero or a villain.
In addition to Jason Momoa and Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, and Sung Kang will reprise their roles in the film. Charlize Theron, who starred in both Fate of the Furious and F9, will also appear in the upcoming film. It should be mentioned that Vin wanted WWE superstar Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson to reprise his role as Hobbs. However, The Rock will not be returning for the franchise’s tenth instalment.
For the uninitiated, Dwayne previously stated in a statement that there is “no possibility” he will return to the franchise and even branded his co-star Vin Diesel manipulative. Justin Lin, who helmed F9, is poised to direct the next instalment in the franchise. According to Universal, the film will be released on May 19, 2023.
Meanwhile, Jason and his now-ex-wife Lisa Bonet recently announced their divorce after four years of marriage. On social media, both performers released a joint statement that stated, “We have all felt the stress and changes of these transitional times…
A revolution is taking place, and our family is no exception… experiencing and growing from the seismic upheavals taking place, and so we share our Family news that we are divorcing.” The post, however, was eventually removed. Jason and Lisa began dating in 2005, and they subsequently married in 2017. Jason Momoa’s next film appearance will be in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. The film is scheduled to be released on December 16, 2022.
