Jason Momoa, aka Khal Drogo, will be the villain in the upcoming Fast & Furious film. Momoa, who previously starred as the heroic Aquaman, will be tackling something more sinister, and we can’t wait to see what he comes up with.
Jason Momoa will be playing the villain in Fast & Furious 10 movie-Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Sung Kang, and Nathalie Emmanuel are all expected to return in the forthcoming action film, which will be shot in London.
He told Entertainment Weekly yesterday (March2) that he is looking forward to reprising his role as the evil guy. “I’m going to do ‘Fast 10,’ which will be exciting… it’ll be interesting because I get to play the evil guy, which I haven’t done in a while.” Now it’s my turn to be the evil guy. “He’s a colourful bad guy,” says the narrator.
Momoa has been tight-lipped about his future part, although he did say that in Fast & Furious 10, his ‘flamboyant’ character would fight with Dominic Toretto’s squad.
And, although the new addition to the squad is highly exciting, the remainder of the cast has been kept somewhat quiet, since little is known about the new cast members. However, Justin Lin, who previously helmed F9, will return to oversee the tenth instalment of the series, as will writer Chris Morgan.
Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Sung Kang, and Nathalie Emmanuel are all expected to return to the forthcoming action film, which will be shot in London. The tenth Fast & Furious movie was supposed to come out in early April of last year.
However, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, filming was interrupted, and the film’s release date was moved back to February 2023, then to April 7, 2023. It will now be released in theatres on May 19, 2023.
The film will be split into two parts for the first time in the series, with the second half slated to be released the following year, in 2024. “The intended release date for the first one is 02/23 for the first one, and 02/24 for the second one,” Vin Diesel told Comicbook.com.
This film was scheduled to be released last year, before the epidemic. So I think what makes this release unique is that Fast 10 has been in development and pre-production for a year.
