Fast & Furious star Tyrese Gibson has said that he is well past his feud with Dwayne Johnson.
Back in 2017, Gibson branded his co-star “selfish”, while Johnson later called the pair’s disagreement “one-sided” and “pretty disappointing”, although the Roman Pearce actor shared last year that the pair are on much better terms these days.
Now, in conversation with The Ellen DeGeneres Show guest host Tiffany Haddish, Gibson revealed they speak “on the phone every other day”.
“That’s all done,” he said in reference to the supposed beef. “We reconnected in a real way man, I think we’re both better men on the other side of all that stuff that went down.
“To be honest with you, [I] did not know when or how the phone call was going to happen, but it did happen and we’re about 20 phone calls in… and we’re in competition right now on who can leave the longest voice note.”
He went on to do an affectionate – and pretty accurate – impression of Johnson leaving his message, so it’s clear that it’s all water under the bridge now.
